Stanley Blashak 1/3 Scale Flintlock Bowie Knife Pistol With Original Case

This is a 1/3 scale flintlock Bowie knife or cutlass pistol by master miniature maker Stanley Blashak of New Castle, Pennsylvania.  5 5/16″ long overall with a 2 13/16″ Bowie knife blade, 1 1/2″ part round part octagon cannon muzzle barrel of about .084 caliber.  The blade, barrel, hammer, frizzen, top jaw, & trigger are steel, finished in the white.  The furniture is very beautifully and ornately engraved German silver with a shell type guard on the right side, and a gorgeousengraved eagle head pommel.  The hammer has both half and full cock.  Two piece ivory handles with a nice visible grain, and a beautiful old aged patina .  Complete with the original Blashak walnut hinged top casing with the typical rotating latch.  The case interior French fit and lined in a red felt with a dust ledge border on the bottom.  The pistol is in near as made mint condition.  This is only the second one of these I have seen.  Stock # CK-76.  Price:  $2,500.00.
