Project Description

This is a 1/2 scale flintlock “Duck’s Foot” pistol made by master miniaturist Stanley Blashak.  4 1/2″ long overall with four 1 17/32″ barrels.  The frame & barrels are made of yellow brass.  The balance of the parts are steel finished in the white.  One piece walnut pistol grip.  The hammer has both half & full cock, & there is a hammer blocking safety that can be engaged when at full cock.  The frame is marked “STAN BLASHAK, NEW CASTLE, PA” underneath the steel belt hook on the left side.  There is a small German silver shield escutcheon inlaid into the top of the pistol grip just behind the top tang.  No case.  Very good condition, but it does show some discoloration of the brass in several places.  I’ve seen a lot of Stanley’s work over the years, but this is the first “Duck’s Foot” pistol!  Stock # CK-74.  Price:  $1,500.00.
