This is a 1/3 scale Elgin percussion single shot cutlass pistol by master miniature maker Ron DeWalt of Michigan. 4 1/4″ long overall with a 1 1/4″ part square part round smoothbore barrel of about .106 caliber. The cutlass blade measures about 2 1/2″ long. The metal parts are all steel and finished in the white. One piece ebony grips. The left rear of the blade marked “DEWALT”. The hammer has full cock only. Complete with the original DeWalt glass topped walnut casing, the interior bottom French fit and lined in red felt. A beautiful little piece and in mint condition.
