Project Description

This is a 1/2 scale Remington .22 bolt action single shot rifle made by Ron DeWalt.  I’m not sure which model this is, but I’m pretty sure it is a Remington.  21 1/4″ long overall with a 13″ rifled barrel of about .165 caliber.  Blue steel barrel, sights, trigger, & screws.  Brass cocking knob, triggerguard, & buttplate.  The bolt is finished in the white.  As with many “boy’s rifles” of the day, this single shot does not cock by operating the bolt.  Once a round is chambered, the cocking knob at the rear of the bolt must be pulled rearward until it “cocks”.  You will hear & feel the click when it cocks.  Then the rifle is ready to fire.  Cocking the bolt is easy & even a child could do it.  Functional ejector will extract the empty or fired case, but there is no ejector as on the full size rifles.  One piece nicely checkered walnut stock.  Fully functional & will fire the 4mm rimfire cartridge.  The rifle is in excellent condition, showing only a little wear to the blue at the muzzle, & the rear sight elevator is missing.  I’d call the blue & stock finish 98%.  Stock # CK-101.  Price:  $1,500.00.
