!!!!!SOLD!!!!! Roger Meurens 1/4 Scale North & Chaney U. S. 1799 Flintlock Martial Pistol Pictured In The Book “The Art Of Miniature Firearms” On Page 65! !!!!!SOLD!!!!!

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/4 scale U. S. 1799 North & Chaney flintlock single shot martial pistol made by Roger Meurens, one of Belgium’s finest miniature firearms makers.  3 7/16″ long overall with a 2″ tapered round smoothbore barrel of .165 caliber.  The barrel is bored through to the touch hole.  Brass frame, triggerguard, pan, & buttcap.  The balance of the metal parts are machined steel finished in the white.  The hammer has both half & full cock.  One piece walnut grip with some nice figure.  The bottom of the frame expertly hand engraved “S. NORTH & E. CHANEY, BERLIN” on the right side of the triggerguard the “BERLIN” circling under the triggerguard.  Complete with the original Meurens glass topped puzzle box case.  The interior bottom lined in green felt.  There are two brass studs which locate & hold the pistol in place inside the case, one for the muzzle & the other for the triggerguard.  This exact miniature featured on a full page in the book “The Art Of Miniature Firearms, Centuries Of Craftsmanship”, & mis-described as 1/3 scale.  Excellent near mint condition showing only very minor signs of handling, mostly a few small scratches on the left side of the grip.  Stock # CK-193.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
