!!!!!PRICE REDUCED!!!!!  This is a 1/3 scale British long sea service flintlock martial pistol by master miniature firearms maker Robin Armstrong of England.  6 1/4″ long overall with a 3 31/32″ round tapered smoothbore barrel of .284 caliber.  Steel barrel, lock assembly, barrel tang, belt hook, trigger, pins, & screws.  The furniture, triggerguard, buttcap, ramrod thimble, sideplate are brass.  One piece straight grained walnut stock.  Tapered hickory ramrod with a brass cap.  The lock has both half & full cock with a crisp action.  The top rear of the barrel marked with a crown over “GR” over a downward pointing arrow, over another crown over crossed downward pointing swords.  The lockplate marked forward of the hammer with a “crown over “GR”, & then with a horizontal broad arrow & crown, and “TOWER” reading vertically behind the hammer.  There is a crown marking on the barrel tang and another on the rear of the belt hook.  Robin’s markings are all photos etched and remarkably accurate!  Complete with the original Armstrong medium brown leather hinged top case with push button latch.  The interior bottom French fit & lined with a dark green felt.  The interior lid padded & lined in green silk with the maker’s name & coat of arms in gold leaf.  Typical of naval pistols of the day, the Long Sea Service Pistol has a steel belt hook on the left side, presumably making it easier to carry in boarding operations or other activities that called for the use of both hands.  Robin Armstrong was one of the premier miniature firearms makers in the world.  Stock # BH-2507, Price Reduced:  $2,250.00.
