Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a set of Scottish weapons made by Richard Bonham of England. Mr. Bonham was a gun maker to the the King of England. Included is a basket hilt sword, a short sword, a dirk, and other accessories. The blades are steel & engraved. the balance of the metal parts are hand engraved silver. All three blades are signed by the maker. The pieces all prominently feature the number “42”, which may be a regimental number of something of that sort. Great craftsmanship and a beautiful set, the likes of which I’ve never seen before. I know little to nothing about such things, so I’ll let the photos tell the story. All housed in a black leather hinged top case with two slide latches. The interior English fit & lined in red felt. The interior lid with the makers paper label attached. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
