Project Description
!!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 2/3 scale Uzi bayonet made by master miniaturist Raymond Hutchens. This was reportedly made by Mr. Hutchens as a gift to Joseph Kramer, Ray’s benefactor and friend. Ray made four 2/3 scale Uzi sub-machine guns, each of which came with a standard bayonet. This bayonet has a Damascus full tang blade, guard, and pommel. The handles are ivory. The screws and release parts are charcoal blued steel. The scabbard has a Damascus throat, and frog button. The rest of the scabbard looks to be some sort of black resin. This is a beautiful piece made by one of the finest miniature makers who ever lived. It is in beautiful condition, but three of the handle screws have turned plum brown. This exact bayonet is pictured on page 77 of Joseph Kramer’s book Scale Model Firearms. Stock # MC-04. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
