Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a flintlock center hammer single shot pistol made by a gentleman in El Paso, Texas named Mr. R. Patton.  I do not know any details about Mr. Patton, but I bought several of his pieces at the recent Tulsa Gun Show from family members.  I speculate if Mr. Patton may have at one time done work making miniatures for Fred Thacker in El Paso back in the day, as the pieces all look to have some age to them.  3 3/8″ long overall with a 1 3/8″ cannon muzzle barrel of .188 caliber.  Fully functional lock, with both half and full cock, but the pan is not drilled through to the barrel.  Yellow brass frame, upper & lower tangs.  The balance of the metal is steel finished in the white,  One piece walnut grip. Complete with the original walnut hinged top case.  The interior is French fit and lined in red cloth.  There is some very light rust on the sides of the hammer base, otherwise this piece is in excellent condition.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
