Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a very nice diorama type display of an original 1930’s period 1/3 scale German Navy dress dagger, (maker unknown), a miniature German Iron Cross, a miniature Admiral’s baton, and a miniature sash or arm band.  All displayed in a very nice hinged top glass presentation case.  The dagger, in scabbard, measures 7 7/8″ long overall.  The double edged spear point dagger blade measures 5 1/2″ long.  there is a portapee tied around the handle & guard.  The blade looks to be stainless steel, or maybe nickel plated.  The crossguard & pommel are yellow cast brass.  The scabbard has two bands and two hanging rings, has some cast in “engraving”, and looks to be gold plated brass.  The dagger handle looks to be some kind of early plastic in a cream/yellow color.  The Iron Cross measures 1″ across the flats.  the baton measures 3 5/15″ long and about 5/16″ in diameter.  It is made of wood with dark blue, gold, & silver details.  The sash measures 16 1/2″ long X 1 3/4″ wide.  The glass display case has chrome details including ball feet and nicely detailed chrome top & bottom metal in a chain like motif.  The bottom interior lined in a black cloth.  There is no metal reinforcement on the side corners of the glass.  A really neat display sure to be a hit with your WWII miniatures!  Excellent condition overall.  Stock # RC-12.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
