!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a one-of-a-kind 1/3 and 1/2 scale double cased set of Borchardt semi-automatic pistols made by Miniart in Moscow, Russia.
The 1/3 Scale Borchardt:
This s a 1/2 scale miniature Borchardt semi-automatic pistol with accessories, as made by DWM in Germany. This miniature was made by Miniart in Moscow, Russia about 20 years ago. The pistol is 4 5/8″ long overall with a 2 13/32″ barrel of about .105 caliber. 8 11/16″ long overall with the stock attached. Most of the metal parts are black blue with some small parts finished in fire blue or straw colors. Two piece checkered walnut grips with a single retaining screw at the bottom on each side. 100% fully functional. Complete with a full compliment of accessories that includes one magazine, walnut shoulder stock, walnut cheek piece, walnut magazine hold open with an oiler on the bottom, walnut tool handle, cleaning rod, a double ended screwdriver blade, two double ended pin punches, and five solid steel dummy cartridges. Only about 10 of these were ever made by Miniart, & many did not include the accessories. You just have to hold this to appreciate the quality and the workmanship! The pistol and accessories are in excellent mint condition as made.
The 1/2 Scale Borchardt:
This s a 1/2 scale miniature Borchardt semi-automatic pistol with accessories, as made by DWM in Germany. This miniature was made by Miniart in Moscow, Russia about 20 years ago. The pistol is 7″ long overall with a 3 11/16″ barrel. With the stock attacked the overall length is 13 1/8″. Most of the metal parts are black blue with some small parts finished in fire blue or straw colors. The bottom of the barrel laser engraved “MINIART RUSSIA”. Two piece checkered walnut grips with a single retaining screw at the bottom on each side. 100% fully functional. Complete with a full compliment of accessories that includes one magazine, walnut shoulder stock, black leather holster, walnut cheek piece, walnut magazine hold open with an oiler on the bottom, walnut tool handle, cleaning rod, a double ended screwdriver blade, two double ended pin punches, and five solid yellow brass dummy cartridges. The pistol and accessories are in excellent mint condition as made.
The Case:
This one-of-a-kind double hand carved walnut casing features a hinged top and push button latch. The top has two finely detailed high relief Borchardt pistols with crossed barrels. The top bordered in high relief carved oak leaves, with the recessed background carved in a kind of scrambled checkered pattern. Below the pistols hand carved into the lid are the words “SYSTEM BORCHARDT PATENT”. The top, front, right corner of the case inlaid with a monogram “MA” in silver wire. The interior is French fit and lined in a dark red velour. The bottom of the case, except for the edges, also lined in the same dark red velour. The bottom with four hemispherical brass feet at the corners. Mint condition.
This is a beautiful set, and worthy of even the most advanced miniature collection. Stock # MC-01. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
