Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/6 scale Winchester Model 1893 pump action hammer shotgun by an unknown maker, possibly by a jeweler in Buffalo, New York. 5 9/16″ long overall with a 3 7/8″ round barrel of .082″ diameter. This piece is partially functional in that when you pump the action it cocks the hammer, and when you pull the trigger, the hammer falls, but the magazine and loading gate are not functional. Beautiful workmanship with the steel parts blued except for the buttplate which is finished in the white. Ebony stock and corn cob grooved forearm. Copper bead front sight. Near mint as new condition showing only some minor wear to the action bar. This exact miniature featured on page 247 of the book “The Art Of Miniature Firearms, Centuries Of Craftsmanship”, which gives the jeweler in Buffalo provenance. Miniatures in this small scale that are even partially functional, are extremely rare, especially so given the quality and detail of this miniature! Stock # LG-12. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
