Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 47% scale miniature Colt single action army revolver Model of 1873 with 4 3/4″ barrel made by Uberti in Italy.  Also known as the “Peacemaker” and “Frontier Six Shooter”.  Fully functional, but non-firing.  4 3/4″″ long overall with a 2 3/16″ rifled barrel of .21 caliber. Features include full factory nickel finish, black powder frame with the round “Bullseye”  ejector rod button, cylinder pin retained by a screw, & the early “Pinched Frame” top strap.  Factory roll stamped one line Colt barrel address that is extremely rare on a nickel finish Uberti Colt SAA & there is no Uberti marking on the bottom of the barrel.  So rare this may be the only one I have ever seen!  Possibly made as a prototype for the U.S. Historical Society.  The trigger guard is stamped “.45 CAL”, on the left side just behind the trigger.  The frame stamped with the two patent dates on the left side of the frame.  Serial number 580 stamped into the frame, trigger guard, backstrap & loading gate hinge.  The bottom of the barrel without the normal stamped with the “A. UBERTI FECIT” marking that would normally be on an SAA with this early serial number.  Checkered hammer spur.  Nickel blade type front sight.  One piece nicely figured walnut grip.  Near mint condition.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
