!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a full scale Hopkins & Allen “Parrot Head derringer made by Tom P. Weston in Mexico City, Mexico, probably in the 1950’s. Fully functional and shoots the 4mm rim fire cartridge. 3 1/2″ long overall with a 1 3/4” smoothbore barrel of about .183 caliber. Fire blue finished steel parts. Serrated trigger. The left side of the barrel hand engraved with the proper Hopkins & Allen barrel address with an engraved border. The right side of the barrel, and both sides of the frame hand engraved in scrolls & vines. There is a button on the left rear of the frame that when pushed forward releases the barrel to pop up for loading. The spring on that button is very strong, and it helps to hold down on the rear of the barrel when pushing it forward. Two piece nicely figured walnut grips with a single screw entering from the left side. Mechanically and cosmetically excellent, I’d call it 98+%. Stock # TJ-5. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
