!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/3 scale Colt #3 derringer made by master miniature maker Herschel Kopp of Ohio. 1 3/4″ long overall with a 7/8″ barrel of .084 caliber. Yellow brass construction except for the screws & pins which are steel finished in the white. The top of the barrel properly marked “-COLT-“, and very well done. The two piece mother of pearl grips have a brass escutcheon on the right side only, and a single screw entering from the left side. Fully functional, the hammer with both half & full cock, and I believe this shoots the later 2mm rimfire cartridges with the thick rim. Includes the original walnut hinged top case with push button latch. The interior bottom lined in a dark blue felt. The interior top lined in a dark blue silk & marked “HERSCHEL KOPP” in gold letters. There is a depression in the case under the barrel which probably originally held a pill capsule of the 2mm ammunition. Mint condition. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
