It’s not a miniature, but it is the worlds smallest commercially made firing semi automatic pistol, and lots of miniature collectors collect these, or at least want one example for their collections. The Kolibri 2.7 mm centerfire semi-automatic pistols were patented in 1910 and made by Franz Pfannl in Germany from about 1914 until just post WW1. 2 5/8″ long overall with a 1 1/4″ barrel of about .108 caliber. Steel construction with two piece black plastic grips. The grips held in place by a single screw on each side with no escutcheons. Nickel plated. The grips are excellent with no cracks or chips. Like many of these pistols, this one has mechanical issues. There is an obvious screw missing on the right side, and according to the consignor, the sear is missing. therefore it will not cock. Complete with two original sheet metal cartridge boxes, ten rounds of original live 2.7mm Kolibri ammunition, and one 2.7mm Kolibri fire cartridge case.
