Project Description
This is an oak and leather luggage or trunk style casing suitable for many purposes. Would work great for a pair of revolvers or pistols, a Miniart 1/2 scale take down Winchester 1894 rifle, a 1/3 scale rifle, etc. The casing has an oak frame, and is covered in a very high quality medium brown leather. There are two straps with brass buckles to secure the case closed, and a leather carrying handle with brass hardware. All the corners are double reinforced. The interior is un-fit & lined in a green felt, the lid is padded. Exterior dimensions are 13″ X 5 1/2″ X 1 3/4″. Interior dimensions are 12 1/16″ X 4 5/8″ X 1 1/8″. Excellent near mint condition showing only some scuff marks on the ends of the straps. Excellent materials and workmanship. These cases were made by a craftsman who worked for one of the high line very expensive ladies handbag companies, I can’t remember which one. Price: $250.00.
