Project Description
This is an oak and leather luggage or trunk style casing for a Miniart 1/2 scale Winchester 1894 octagon barreled take down rifle. This is for the full rifle, not the short rifle. The casing has an oak frame, and is covered in a very high quality medium brown leather. There are two straps with brass buckles to secure the case closed, and a leather carrying handle with brass hardware. All the corners are double reinforced. The interior is French fit and lined in a green felt. Excellent near mint condition showing only some scuff marks on the ends of the straps. Excellent materials and workmanship. These cases were made by a craftsman who worked for one of the high line very expensive ladies handbag companies, I can’t remember which one. Price: $250.00.
