!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a beautiful and very high quality oak and alligator leather luggage or trunk type casing that would be perfect for a 1/2 scale Miniart 1894 Winchester take down short rifle, a pair of pistols or revolvers with accessories, or any number of other uses. The outside is covered in a really fine dark brown alligator leather, with reinforcements on the corners. There are two straps with yellow brass buckles to secure the case closed, and a leather carrying handle with yellow brass fittings. The interior is not fit for any particular pistol, no partitions etc. The interior bottom is lined in green felt. The interior lid is padded and lined in green felt. You can see the oak framing of the case with the lid open, with mitered corners, and the bottom has a dust ledge. Exterior dimensions are 11 3/8″ X 5 1/2″ X 1 5/8″. Interior dimensions are 10 5/8″ X 4 3/4″ X 1 1/8″. These were made by the makers of some high line, high priced lady’s handbags, but I can remember which one. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
