!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a cased pair of 1/4 scale Thompson sub-machine guns made by Miniart in Moscow, Russia.  There is a 1928 Thompson with a 100 round drum magazine, Cutts compensator, finned barrel, and Lyman windage & elevation adjustable rear sight and a M-1 Thompson with the fixed rear sight and a 30 round stick magazine.

The M-1 Thompson:

 This is a 1/4 scale M-1 Thompson sub-machine gun made by Miniart in Moscow, Russia. 7 7/8″ long overall with a 2 5/8″ barrel of about .110 caliber. Blue steel finish with oil finished nicely figured walnut buttstock, pistol grip, and horizontal forearm. The upper & lower receivers were properly pantagraph marked by the late Herschel Kopp.  Standard M-1 sights, sling swivels.  30 round stick magazine. The buttplate has the functional trap door for the oiler, but no oiler is included. Fully functional, but non firing.  Includes 3 rounds of solid brass dummy ammunition that will feed, chamber, extract, & eject when the action is cycled manually.  Mint condition.

The 1928 Thompson:

This is a 1/4 scale Model of 1928 Thompson sub-machine gun made by Miniart in Moscow, Russia. 8 3/8″ long overall with a 3 5/16″ barrel of about .110 caliber. Blue steel finish with oil finished  nicely figured walnut buttstock and vertical pistol grip forearm. Standard Lyman windage & elevation adjustable rear sight.  Cutts compensator on the muzzle and finned barrel.  Detachable buttstock.  100 round “C” drum magazine.  The upper & lower receivers were properly pantagraph marked by the late Herschel Kopp. The buttplate has the functional trap door for the oiler, but no oiler is included. Fully functional, but non firing, and will feed, chamber, extract, and eject the included 5 rounds of solid brass 1/4 scale dummy .45 ACP ammunition.  Near mint condition with only some minor blue finish turning plum on the receiver.

The Case:

This pair of 1/4 scale Thompsons is cased in a hinged top clam shell casing.  The top of the case is covered in a burgundy felt and there is a five point star with the Soviet hammer & sickle in the top center.  The case bottom is covered in a black felt.  There is a gold trim on the top lib of the case bottom.  The case interior lid is covered in an off white silk and has a black & white plastic plaque in the center (see photos).  The case bottom has three more black & white plastic plaques.  Accessories include a leather sling, a badge, a small pair of handcuffs, a small screwdriver, a brass heraldic U.S. eagle, and a book.  The book is titled “Thompson Submachine Guns, Five Complete Manuals”, and was published by Desert Publications.  It is soft cover & I’m guessing about 150 pages.  The two Thompsons, the drum magazine, the sling, and the screwdriver are all held in place with elastic loops.  The book fits nicely on top of the Thompsons and holds everything nicely in place.

A really neat set that someone spent a lot of time & thought putting together.  Stock # RN-3.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
