Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/3 scale German FG-42 Assault rifle with case & accessories by Miniart in Moscow, Russia. 13″ long overall with a 7 3/4″ barrel (including the flash hider) of .102 caliber. This is the great grandfather of all modern day military battle rifles including the AK-47 and the M-16. Fully functional, but non-firing, and will feed, chamber, extract, & eject the included five rounds of dummy ammunition when the action is cycled manually. Features include Selective fire of either semi-automatic or fully automatic, the integral folding bipod, self storing bayonet, two protective doors on the magazine well, fold down front & rear iron sights, the rear peep sight adjustable for elevation, muzzle brake/flash hider, serrated forearm and stock butt, rifled grenade launcher (screws on in place of the muzzle brake), two different rifled grenades, grenade launcher sight, 20 round horizontal box magazine, and detachable scope. The scope has lenses in both ends, but no cross hairs or internal components. The top front of the receiver is marked “fzs, FG42, 003” in three lines. The right side of the scope is marked “Gw ZF 4, bzz. triangle” in two lines. There are triangle markings on the top and right side of the scope behind the adjustment turrets. Complete with the original Miniart hinged top walnut casing with two push button latches. The interior semi-French fit and lined in a red velvet. 99.9% mint new condition, the only flaw is the grenade launcher blank dummy cartridge is missing (there’s a spot for it). I’ll include an extra standard dummy cartridge so you can make one by cutting of the projectile part of the cartridge. It’s been 15 years at least since I sold the last of these. Only nine were made. A phenomenal miniature, & I wish I had the resources to keep it for myself! Truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to own one of these outstanding miniature machine guns! Stock # CR-25. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
