Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/3 scale Colt “Texas” Paterson percussion revolver made by Miniart in Moscow, Russia. 4 1/8″ long overall with a 2 1/2″ octagon barrel of about .112 caliber. Unlike the Larry Smith miniature Colt Patersons, this miniature is 100% fully functional. The cylinder rotates, indexes, lines up correctly, and the trigger drops down into position when the hammer is cocked. This miniature will shoot if you can find the proper percussion caps and lead bullets! The hammer has both half and full cock, and has a checkered hammer spur. The top barrel flat is laser marked with the proper Colt Paterson barrel address. One piece straight grained walnut grip. Includes a functional copper & brass 5 spout powder flask, a spare cylinder, a functional single cavity bullet mold with sprue cutter and walnut handles, a combination tool which is a screwdriver and loading lever, a fully functional brass capper with embossed copper lid, a walnut handled cleaning rod with jagged end and the case key. Complete with a contemporary type walnut casing with hinged top and miniature Colt key lock. The interior French fit and lined in a purple felt. Near mint condition. The backstrap and cleaning rod shaft starting to turn a plum purple/brown. The flask and capper with a nice aged patina. The case lid is warped a little, but will close and lock. It has been several years since I have been able to offer one of these for sale. Stock # MK-6. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
