!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale German artillery Luger made by Miniart in Moscow, Russia. 6 7/16″ long overall with a 3 27/32″ round barrel of about .175 caliber. 100% fully functional. Blue finished steel construction except for the safety, trigger, take down lever, extractor, & magazine release which are properly straw colored. Two piece checkered walnut grips with a retaining screw on the bottom of each side. Checkered take down lever, magazine release, toggle ends, and rear sight release button. Serrated safety lever. Dovetailed front sight and long range elevation adjustable rear sight. The top front of the upper receiver marked “1917”. The top of the toggle marked with the intertwined DWM logo. The left front of the upper receiver marked with the serial number 37. The front of the frame beneath the barrel, the take down cover on the left, the center part of the toggle behind the DWM logo, and the rear of the rear part of the toggle all stamped with the serial number 37 also. The left rear of the frame marked “GESICHERT”, visible when the safety is in the safe position. The rear sight marked with the graduated distance markings. The functional sheet steel magazine is finished in the white with an aluminum bottom. Includes three solid steel dummy cartridges, a 1/2 scale Luger manual, the walnut shoulder stock, brown leather holster, brown leather double magazine pouch, brown leather shoulder strap, the wood handled cleaning rod and the blue steel take down tool. Excellent mint 99+% condition. This piece initially had the straw parts blued when received from Miniart. The piece was then upgraded by master gunsmith Paul Gauffin, who re-contoured and straw colored the small parts, and also added serial numbers to parts that Miniart did not number. This is the first one of Paul’s re-worked ones I’ve ever been been able to offer for sale. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
