!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a beautiful super deluxe walnut casing for one of the Miniart 1/2 scale AK-47 rifles that I sold years ago. The case measures 20″ X 6 1/4″ X 3″. The top center is carved in an oak leaf motif. In the center is a high relief carved portrait of a lighter wood of Mikhail Kalashnikov. The right & left side of the top, the ends of the case, and the front of the case are elaborately silver wire inlaid in scrolls with inlaid leaves. The top has two rear hinges, and two slide latches secure the top at the front. The interior if French fit in a bright red velour for the rifle and magazine. There is an interior wood block to hold five dummy rounds of ammunition. The bottom of the case is lined in the same red velour, and has four wood button feet. A magnificent piece of art in it’s own right, and the perfect case if you are lucky enough to own one of the Miniart AK-47 miniatures. The case shows some minor handling marks and light scratches, mostly on the back. There is some glue residue showing on the back at the hinges, and the bottom of the front is bowing out just a little. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
