Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a pair of 1/3 scale Model 1894 Winchester take down rifles made by Miniart in Moscow, Russia.  Both rifles are blue finished steel, standard step elevator elevation adjustable rear sights, checkered hammer spurs, crescent buttplates, functional lever safeties, and deluxe nicely figured forearms and buttstocks.  The top rifle has a half round half octagon barrel, half magazine, & pistol grip stock & lever.  The bottom rifle has a full octagon barrel, full magazine, & straight grip stock & lever.  Both are fully functional, and will feed, chamber, extract, & eject the included dummy cartridges when the action is cycled manually.  Both have the proper barrel address, caliber markings, and upper tang markings laser engraved. The two rifles are cased together, taken down, in a deluxe hinged top walnut casing with push button latch.  The interior is French fit and lined in a red velour.  The case lid is high relief carved in vine & leaf scrolls with a depiction of a sleeping fox in the center.  Includes 10 rounds of dummy cartridges with brass cases, copper bullets, and copper primers that look like live rounds.  There are a lot of photos of this magnificent set to enjoy.  To my knowledge, there were only four 1/3 scale take down 1894 rifles made by Miniart, the other two in a similar set to this one, but with different barrel configurations.  The Miniart 1/3 scale Winchester 1894’s are much rarer than the 1/2 scale versions.  A really cool one-of-a-kind set that could not be duplicated today at five time what I’m asking!  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
