Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/3 scale miniature Winchester Model 1894 saddle ring “Trapper” carbine made by Miniart in Moscow, Russia about 15 – 20 years ago.  11 3/4″ long overall with an 4 11/16″ round barrel of about .01 caliber.  Winchester Model 1894 trapper carbines are very rare, and had barrels shorter than the 20″ barrels that were standard, and could be special ordered in almost any length down to 12″.  This one has the equivalent length of a 14″ barrel.  Any “trapper” carbine with a barrel shorter that 16″ would require a special license for a short barrel rifle.  Fully functional including the lever safety.  Blue steel finish.  Beautiful deluxe highly figured walnut buttstock & forearm.  Serial # 003 laser engraved on the bottom of the receiver just behind the forearm.  The proper barrel, caliber, and rear tang markings laser engraved.  Standard Winchester front and carbine long range folding ladder rear sights are dovetailed into the barrel.  Includes three rounds of solid brass dummy ammunition that when loaded into the magazine will feed, chamber, extract, and eject when the action is cycled.  Complete with a nice hinged top walnut casing with magnetic latches made by Imperial Miniature Armory.  The interior French fit and lined in a brick red felt.  Excellent mint new condition.  From the personal miniature collection of Joel Morrow.  Stock # JM-108.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
