Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale Winchester Model 1894 saddle ring carbine made by Miniart in Russia. 19 1/8″ long overall with a 10″ barrel of .15 caliber. Fully functional and complete with three rounds of solid brass dummy ammunition that will feed, chamber, extract, and eject when manually cycled through the action. The steel parts are a high polish blue. The barrel address, caliber markings, tang markings & serial # 004 laser engraved by me back when I worked for Imperial Miniature Armory! Functional lever safety. Checkered hammer spur. Nicely figured varnished walnut buttstock and forearm hand checkered by master stock maker James Corpe of Missouri. James had to make the checkering tools to checker these miniature Winchester rifles as there were none available commercially that were fine or small enough to do the scale Winchester checkering. Includes miniature Winchester hang tag and instruction pamphlet. The barrel is starting to turn a plum/bronze color, and there is a scratch in the finish on each side of the forearm where the forearm band was slid on, but I don’t think it’s into the wood itself, otherwise the piece is near mint condition, I’d call it 98+%. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
