!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale 1894 Winchester take down octagon barreled rifle made by Miniart in Russia. 21″ long overall with a 12″ octagon barrel of about .156 caliber. Straight wrist, full magazine, crescent buttplate. The receiver, breech end of the barrel, forearm cap, lever, upper tang, & buttplate are hand engraved by an unknown engraver. Checkered hammer spur, dovetailed front and rear sights. The steel parts are blued, except for the loading gate which is charcoal blue. The buttstock and forearm are nicely figured, and beautifully checkered. No markings. Includes a beautiful walnut hinged top casing, the top beautifully high relief carved in scrolls & leaves with a center circular scene of a bugling elk in a woodland setting. The interior is French fit and lined in a burgundy velour. Includes five solid brass dummy cartridges that when loaded into the magazine will feed, chamber, extract, & eject when the action is cycled manually. Also includes the oval Winchester hang tag and the two page Winchester instructions pamphlet (not shown). Excellent mint condition, except the receiver has turned a plum color.
