!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale U.S. M-2 carbine made by Miniart in Moscow, Russia about 20 years ago. 17 5/8″ long overall with a 8 7/8″ round barrel of about .15 caliber. Gray Parkerized steel finish except for the bolt, rear sight aperture, magazine release, trigger, fire control selector, and buttplate, which are blued. 20 Round “banana” magazine, which were only issued to the M-2 carbines. Straight grained walnut stock & forward upper handguard with an oil finish. The top front of the receiver just over the rear of the chamber laser engraved “U.S. CARBINE, CAL .30 M2” in two lines. The serial number “004” is laser engraved into the top rear of the receiver just behind the rear sight. This carbine has the later windage adjustable aperture rear sight and the bayonet lug under the barrel. Standard blade front sight with protective ears on each side. Sling swivel on the left side of the barrel band. Stamped steel buttplate. Includes the original bayonet marked with the serial number “004”, and three rounds of solid yellow brass dummy .30 carbine cartridges that will feed, chamber, extract, and eject when manually cycled through the action. There are some minor scratches on the top of the magazine where it has been installed & removed, some minor scratches on the top of the bolt, and some scratches and dings in the wood, and a small discolored spot on the bayonet lug, otherwise this piece is in excellent condition, I’d call it 98%. There were only about six of these late style M-2 carbines with bayonets & 20 round magazines ever made. Stock # BM-15. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
