Project Description
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale Krieghoff P-08 Luger made by Miniart in Moscow Russia. 4 3/8″ long overall with a 1 7/8″ barrel of about .172 caliber. This piece has been upgraded by master gunsmith Larry Smith of Florida at a cost of several hundred dollars! Blue steel construction except for some of the small parts which Larry properly straw colored. The two piece checkered grips are secured by a single screw at the bottom of each side. The serial number “01” stamped into the removable left sideplate, behind the rear sight, & the top of the toggle assembly behind the logo. The front of the frame underneath the barrel & the left side of the upper receiver stamped 001. “1936” stamped into the top front of the upper receiver just behind the barrel. The top of the toggle stamped with HK on either side of an anchor, and “KRIEGHOFF SUHL” in two lines. The left side of the frame stamped “Heinrich Krieghoff, Waffenfabrik, Suhl” in three lines. The round part of the toggles and the takedown lever are checkered. The top of the safety lever is serrated. The sheet steel magazine is blued with an aluminum bottom, and blue steel follower. The rear of the grip frame is cut for a detachable shoulder stock. This miniature was sent to Larry Smith years ago to be properly detailed. Larry properly contoured the safety lever, straw colored the small parts, and stamped the serial numbers into parts where they should be. Fully functional, and includes four solid steel dummy cartridges that will feed, chamber, extract, & eject when manually cycled through the action. Complete with a nice walnut hinged top case by an unknown maker. I will include a 1/2 scale Luger manual, not shown. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
