Project Description

This is a 1/2 scale German Erfurt P-08 Luger made by Miniart in Moscow Russia.  4 3/8″ long overall with a 1 7/8″ barrel of about .172 caliber.  Blue steel construction with two piece checkered walnut grips.  The grips secured by a single screw at the bottom of each side.  The serial number “82” stamped into the left front of the upper receiver.  “1912” stamped into the top front of the upper receiver just behind the barrel.  “ERFURT” with a crown over it is stamped into the top of the toggle.    Fully functional, and includes five solid steel dummy cartridges that will feed, chamber, extract, & eject when manually cycled through the action.   This piece has been upgraded by master miniature  gunsmith Larry Smith.  He has properly contoured the safety, then straw colored it and the trigger, takedown lever magazine release, and the spring on the left side of the slide.  He also properly serial numbered the parts that Miniart did not.  The flat part & sides of the toggle knobs, the magazine release, the magazine follower button, and the takedown lever are checkered.  The safety lever is serrated.  The magazine is sheet steel finished in the white with a black anodized aluminum bottom and a blue steel follower.  Complete with a nice walnut hinged top case made for Imperial Miniature Armory  by Wayne Hoosier.  The case interior French fit and lined in a purple felt.  The lid interior is recessed to hold the included Luger manual.  The interior has a rectangular space for a miniature period German 16 round cartridge box, but it is not included as I have no more.  The case key is included.  The pistol is in mint condition.  The box lid has a couple of light scratches.  Price:  $2,450.00.
