!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale Colt 1911 A1 made by Miniart in Moscow, Russia about 20 years ago. 4 1/4″ long overall with a 2 15/32″ .22 caliber rifled barrel. Blue finish. Two piece ivory grips made by master ivory carver Dennis Holland, with 14 karat gold Colt grip medallions made by Houston Jeweler Roberto Hinze. Serial # OR 41. The chamber part of the barrel that shows through the ejection port is stamped “COLT 45 AUTO”. The right side of the frame is marked “UNITED STATES PROPERTY M1911 A1 US ARMY, OR41” in two lines. The left side of the slide marked “PATENTED APR. 20, 1897. SEPT. 9, 1902. COLT’S PT F.A. MFG. CO, DEC. 19, 1905. FEB. 14, 1911. AUG. 19, 1913. HARTFORD CT. USA” in two lines, along with the Colt rampant Colt logo. The rear of the slide with the usual serrations. The arched mainspring housing and slide release also serrated. Checkered hammer spur, magazine release, and mainspring bushing. Fixed front sight and dovetailed windage adjustable rear sight. Fully functional and will feed, chamber, extract, and eject the included three solid steel dummy cartridges when the action is cycled manually. Complete with a hinged top key lock walnut casing made by Wayne Hoosier of Dickenson, Texas for Imperial Miniature Armory. The interior French fit and lined in purple felt. Includes the brass case key, a miniature Olin WWII empty cartridge box, and a miniature Colt instruction manual. Mint new condition. Stock # JC-02. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
