!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale Sharps 1874 sporting rifle by master miniature maker Mike Barrett of Minnesota. 19 7/8″ long overall with a 12″ tapered octagon rifled barrel of .22 caliber. The lock plate, hammer, frame, lever, lower tang, and buttplate are beautifully case colored. The balance of the metal is finished in a nice high polish blue. All the metal finishing done by master metal finisher Doug Turnbull of New York. Long range adjustable rear tang sight, sporting front sight, no rear barrel sight, and no dovetail for one. Typical Sharps dropping block action with under lever. Beautiful highly figured walnut stock and forearm with satin oil finish. The rear of the lower tang stamped with Mike’s maker mark which is a combined MB. Fully functional but non-firing. A beautiful piece and a miniature of a rifle that is very seldom seen. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
