!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale Winchester Model 1892 saddle ring carbine made by master miniaturist Mike Barrett of Minnesota. 17 9/16″ long overall with a 9″ round rifled barrel. The piece is in the white, which is the way Mike typically sold them. There are no markings except for Mike’s initials “M J B” stamped into the rear of the lower tang. Fully functional including the firing pin & extractor. Fixed front sight with typical dovetailed carbine rear sight. The hammer has both half & full cock. Beautiful 4X American walnut stock & forearm. A great chassis to duplicate your original full size 1892 in miniature. Would be even greater to see it lettered, engraved, maybe even gold inlaid, then blued & case colored by Doug Turnbull. The price I’m asking is exactly the price Mike charged for these 25 years ago!
