Mike Barrett 1/2 Scale Ballard .44 Rim Fire Civil War Carbine

This is a 1/2 scale Ballard .44 rim fire caliber Civil War carbine made by master miniaturist Mike Barrett.  Fully functional but non-firing.  16 1/16″ long overall with a 10 3/4″ half octagon half round rifled barrel of .22 caliber.  Dropping block action.  The steel parts are finished in the white.  The knob at the bottom rear of the forearm is the extractor.  With the lever fully lowered, this was pushed back toward the frame to extract the cartridge.  Dovetailed rear flip sight.  Nicely figured walnut buttstock, the forearm is straight grained.  Mike’s maker’s mark stamped into the rear of the lower tang.  This is the first one of these I have ever seen or heard of in my almost 33 years of dealing in miniature arms!  Possibly one-of-a-kind!!!  Stock # CK-44.  Price:  $3,500.00.
