!!!!!SOLD!!!! Magnificent Alan Bilbow Tiny 1/4 Scale Wheellock Pistol !!!!!SOLD!!!!!

!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/4 scale wheellock pistol made by Alan Bilbow.  Mr. Bilbow is famously known for his wonderful miniature crossbows, & crossbow combination firearms weapons.  Miniature wheellocks are one of the most difficult miniatures to make as they are very complex usually having near or more than 100 separate parts.  This tiny wheellock is only 2 1/16″ long overall with a 1 1/4″ part square part round barrel of .071 caliber.  Steel & brass construction, the steel parts with a beautiful bright blue “blue” finish.  The stock, pan, & pan cover are beautifully engraved.  Blued ramrod with a square wrench hole in the exposed end.  Complete with the original combination tool and an antique non-original brown leather hinged top case with gold border top detailing & push button latch.  The interior bottom French fit & lined in green felt.  The interior top padded and lined in a cream colored silk.  The lid lining marked  “BY APPOINTMENT”, with their logo underneath, then “CATCHPOLE & WILLIAMS, 14.
