Project Description
This is a 1/3 scale hand made full tang Bowie knife made by Linder in Solingen, Germany. 4 15/16″ long overall with a 2 3/4″ drop point hollow ground blade. The top back of the blade coarsely serrated for thumb purchase. Steel guard finished in the white. Two piece wood, (probably walnut), handles held in place by 7 steel rivets. Brass lined hole at the back of the handle. The left side of the blade marked “Linder, ROSTFREI”, The right side marked 444307, which is the model number not a serial number. “ROSTFREI” means rust free in German, so the blade is most likely stainless steel.
