!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 47% scale miniature Colt single action army revolver Model of 1873 with 7 1/2 inch barrel made by Uberti in Italy for the United States Historical Society. It has been modified by Larry Smith to shoot! Also known as the “Peacemaker” and “Frontier Six Shooter”. Fully functional and firing. 6″ long overall with a 3 7/16″ rifled barrel of .21 caliber with NO factory plug. Features include blue & case colored finish, black powder frame with the round “Bullseye” ejector rod button, cylinder pin retained by a screw, and the early “Pinched Frame” topstrap. The triggerguard is stamped 45 CAL on the left side just behind the trigger. The frame stamped with the two patent dates on the left side. Serial number “1” stamped into the frame, trigger guard, & backstrap. “900” stamped into the frame under the cylinder pin, the rear of the cylinder, & the loading gate hinge. The bottom of the barrel is NOT roll stamped with the Uberti markings. Factory roll stamped one line italics barrel address. Checkered hammer spur, the firing pin replaced by Larry with one of the proper length & finished in the white. Nickel silver blade type front sight. Straight grained one piece rosewood grip with an oil finish. Complete with a Larry Smith mahogany hinged top casing with miniature Colt key lock, key included. The interior English fit and lined in a dark red felt. The outside case dimensions are 6 7/8″ X 3″ X 1 1/4″. The interior lid with the Colt instructions label. Accessories included are 27 Larry Smith dummy cartridges with copper primers, a 3 piece brass Larry Smith marked oiler, a fire blue “L’ shaped screwdriver, & a fire blue cleaning rod. Larry Smith converted a few of these when they first started appearing on the market in the 1980’s. He removed the hardened steel plug form the barrel, plugged the hole in the barrel where the blind pin held the plug in place, made and installed the new firing pin, reamed the cylinder bores, & made the case & accessories. Larry made special live cartridges for these converted miniatures years ago, but they are almost impossible to find. This is the first one of these I’ve been able to offer for sale in over five years!!! Mint new as made condition.
