!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a cased pair of 1/2 scale Remington Vest Pocket derringers by master miniature maker Larry Smith of Florida.  2 1/8″ long overall with 1 5/8″ round barrels of about .110 caliber.  Both sides of the frames and the bottom and sides of the muzzle end of the barrel are beautifully & expertly engraved, much nicer that normally seen on Larry’s work.  Nickel plated finish except for the trigger, hammer, front sight, grip screw, & pins which are fire blued.  Checkered hammer spur.  Nicely figured two piece ivory grips with a fantastic aged patina and beautiful grain, with German silver escutcheons and a single screw entering from the left side.  The bottom of the barrels stamped with the serial numbers 151 & 152  near the trigger.  The top of the frames marked “REMINGTONS ILION N.Y., PAT OCT 1, 1861”.  The bottom of each grip marked “L. H. SMITH”.  Includes the original Larry Smith walnut hinged top casing with push button latch & silk hinge.  The case interior semi-French fit and lined in a purple felt.  The bottom of the case stamped “-L.H.-, SMITH, 151 & 152, E” in four lines.  The 151 & 152 of course is the serial numbers of the miniatures inside, and the E for engraved.  Accessories include 15 solid brass miniature .22 short rimfire cartridges with impressed “H” headstamps, and a in the white steel cleaning/ejector rod with a yellow brass handle.   These will fire the 2mm rimfire blank cartridges with the thick rim.  Excellent near mint new condition.  The fire blue on the trigger, hammer, and grip screw are 100%.  This is the first cased pair of Larry Smith Remington vest pocket pistols I have had in well over 7 years.  Stock # BK-83.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
