Larry Smith 1/3 Scale Remington Elliott Single Shot Derringer, Engraved, Pearl Grips, Cased, 2mm Pinfire, Serial # 153

This is a 1/3 scale Remington Elliott single shot “Mississippi” derringer by master miniaturist Larry H. Smith of Florida.  1 5/8″ long overall with 13/16″ barrel of .125 caliber.  Beautifully engraved and has the one line Remington barrel address on top of the barrel, “REMINGTONS ILLION N.Y.”.  Nickel plated frame, barrel, and backstrap with charcoal blue hammer, trigger, & pins.  Checkered hammer spur.  Brass bead type front sight.  Two piece mother of pearl grips with brass escutcheons and a single screw entering from the left side.  The serial # 153 is stamped into the bottom of the barrel & frame.  “L. H. SMITH” also stamped into the bottom of the barrel.  Includes the original Larry Smith hinged top mahogany case with push button latch.  The case bottom stamped “-L.H.-, SMITH, 153, E” in four lines.  The case interior semi-French fit and lined in a burgundy felt.  Accessories include a brass handled steel cleaning/extractor rod & a brass lift top container, the top stamped “REMINGTONS”.  This is chambered for & will fire the 2mm pinfire blank cartridges.  Mint new condition.  Price:  $850.00.
