!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a double cased set of 1/3 scale Colt Paterson revolvers with accessories by master miniature maker Larry Smith of Florida. One revolver is 4 1/4″ long with a 2 17/32″ octagon barrel of .122 caliber. The other revolver is 3 1/16″ long with a 1 11/32″ octagon barrel of .122 caliber. The frames, backstraps, & front sights are yellow brass. The balance of the steel parts are finished in the white with the exception of the trigger, recoil shield, trigger spring, wedge, & screws which are fire blued. Both revolvers barrels have barrel addresses which read “-L.H. SMITH – FLA. U S A-” The barrels do not have wedge screws, which is normal on Larry’s very early Colt Patersons This pair was made in the mid 1970’s. The serial numbers 122 & 123 are stamped into the bottom of the backstrap, bottom front of the frame, bottom rear of the barrel, & the rear of the cylinder. Both revolvers have half & full cock, will shoot the 2mm pinfire cartridge. Beautiful ivory grips one piece with a great aged patina & beautiful grain! Accessories include a fire blued three handled bullet mold with turned walnut handles marked with an “S” on top of the sprue cutter and “.120” (caliber) on the left side, a one spout powder flask which is a cartridge container and ejector that is marked on the bottom “122, 123” in two lines, a brass cleaning/extractor rod with a jagged end, walnut turned handle, and a brass ferrule, & two brass lift top cap tins containing a quantity of cloth patches. The cap tins have green paper ELEY BROs labels. Everything is housed in the original Larry Smith mahogany hinged top casing with slide latch and a rectangular German silver escutcheon with scalloped corners inlaid into the center of the top. The case interior is French fit and lined in a burgundy velvet. The bottom of the case stamped “-L.H.-, SMITH, 122 – 123” in three lines. Near mint condition, with the expected tarnish to the brass items. A nice Larry Smith double cased set. Stock # LS-1. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
