!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/3 scale Colt Paterson revolver with case & accessories by master miniature maker Larry Smith of Florida. 4″ long with a 2 1/2″ octagon barrel of .122 caliber. The frame & backstrap are brass. The balance of the steel parts are beautifully fire blued with the exception of the hammer which is finished in the white. The barrel also has the barrel addresses which read “-L.H. SMITH-FLA. U S A-” No wedge screw, which is normal on Larry’s very early Colt Patersons. Brass bead type front sight. The serial number 65 stamped into the bottom of the backstrap, bottom front of the frame, and the bottom rear of the barrel. The bottom of the backstrap also stamped with the letters “TM”. The bottom of the barrel stamped with the letter “A”. There is a brass lanyard stud & hanging ring on the bottom of the backstrap. One piece rosewood grip with a high gloss finish. This revolver will shoot the 2mm pinfire cartridges. Accessories include an extra barrel which is 1 5/8″ long and has the Larry Smith barrel markings, a brass one spout powder flask which when the top is removed acts as the cartridge ejector/extractor, a brass cleaning with turned rosewood handle and a brass ferrule, a gold plated brass lift top cap tin with the Colt Eley cap paper label which contains a number of cloth patches & 12 2mm pinfire blank cartridges, a 3 legged blue steel bullet mold with turned rosewood handles, the sprue cutter stamped with a “S”, & a proper Paterson combination tool/loading rammer/screwdriver. Everything is housed in the original Larry Smith mahogany hinged top casing with slide latch. The case interior is semi French fit and lined in a dark red felt. The bottom of the case stamped “-L.H.-, SMITH, 65” in three lines. Beautiful mint condition.
