!!!!!PRICE REDUCED!!!!! Very Rare Larry Smith 1/3 Scale Colt Texas # 5 Paterson Percussion Revolver With Folding Trigger, Extra Long Barrel With Colt Barrel Address, & Percussion Nipples, Serial # 249

!!!!!PRICE REDUCED!!!!!  This is a 1/3 scale Colt Paterson revolver by master miniature maker Larry Smith of Florida.  This revolver has a very rare folding trigger instead of the usual fixed trigger.  I am told that Larry made less than 10 of these Patersons with a folding trigger.  The revolver also has much longer than normal barrel which is rarely seen, & has the very rare Colt Paterson barrel address instead of the usual Larry Smith markings.  4 11/16″ long overall with a 2 15/16″ octagon barrel of .122 caliber.  Silver plated frame & backstrap.  Brass cone type front sight.  The hammer is finished in the white.  The barrel, cylinder, wedge, trigger, trigger spring, & screws are finished in a beautiful charcoal blue. The cylinder must be manually indexed, or rotated by hand.  The top flat of the barrel marked “— Patent Arms M’g. Co. Paterson, N.J. – Colt’s Pt. —”  The serial number 249 is stamped into the bottom of the backstrap, the bottom rear of the barrel, and the rear of the cylinder.  The frame marked with the number “9” to the right of the folding trigger.  The bottom of the grip strap also marked L. H. SMITH, – -, FLA. U.S.A.”.  The hammer has both half & full cock, and the hammer spur is not checkered.  One piece ivory grip with a nice aged patina.  This revolver will not shoot the 2mm pinfire cartridges like most Larry Smith Patersons, the cylinder has percussion nipples.  Includes a non-functional original Larry Smith Colt Paterson capper with hinged lid and engraved top depicting the Colt rampant horse and crossed Paterson revolvers.  The perimeter of the lid engraved “COLT’S PATENT PATENT ARMS MANG Co. PATERSON, N.J.”.  The backside of the capper marked “L. H. SMITH, FLA., U.S.A.”.  Cased in the original Larry smith hinged top mahogany case with slide latch.  The case interior French fit & lined in a burgundy velour.  The bottom of the case stamped “L. H., SMITH, 249” in three lines.  Near mint condition except for some expected tarnish to the silver frame.  A very rare & possibly unique Larry Smith Colt Paterson & probably a special order.  Stock # RC-18.  Price Reduced:  $1,250.00.
