!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/2 scale Starr vest pocket derringer by master miniaturist Larry Smith, probably made in the 1970’s.  1 7/8″ long overall with a 1″ part octagon part round barrel of .11 caliber.  Beautiful fire blue finished steel finish.  Gorgeous two piece mother of pearl grips with brass escutcheons and a single screw entering from the left side.  Finely checkered hammer spur & trigger face.  The top flat of the barrel marked “STAR VEST POCKET”.  The bottom rear of the barrel marked “10”, only visible with the action open.  The bottom of the grip strap marked “L. H. SMITH”.  Complete with the original Larry Smith mahogany hinged top case with push button latch, the hinge is silk cloth.  The interior semi French fit & lined in an olive green felt.  Accessories include 10 solid brass 1/2 scale dummy .22 short rimfire cartridges with impressed headstamps, and a blue cleaning rod with brass knob & jagged end.  This will shoot the thick rim 2mm rimfire blank cartridges.  Mint condition.  One of the rarer Larry Smith miniatures.  I haven’t had one of these in well over seven years!  Stock # RB-21. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
