!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale Wesson swivel barrel two shot derringer made by master miniaturist Larry Smith of Florida. 2 1/2″ long overall with a 1 1/4″ blue barrel group. This piece shoots the 2mm rimfire cartridges. Nickel plated frame, the balance of the metal fire blued. The frame and the rear of the barrel group nicely engraved in floral motifs. The center hole in the barrel group with a hidden sliding spear point dagger that is finished in the white. Two piece ivory grips with yellow brass escutcheons and a single screw entering from the left side. The ivory showing a nice grain and a pleasing aged patina. The top of one barrel marked “-L.H. Smith-“, the left side of that same barrel marked “FRANK WESSON WORCHESTER MASS. PT. DEC. 15/68”. The serial number “60” stamped into the left side of the frame just behind the barrels. Complete with the original Larry Smith hinged top mahogany casing with push button latch. The bottom marked “-L.H.-, SMITH, 60, E” in three lines. The “E” means the piece is engraved. The interior English fit and lined in an olive green felt. Also included is a yellow brass handled blue cleaning/ejector rod, 8 rounds of 2mm dummy cartridges with an impressed “H” headstamp, and some cleaning patches in the lidded compartment. Beautiful mint new condition except for some minor scratches on the case top! I bought this from the person who originally purchased this from Larry! !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
