Project Description
!!!!!PRICE REDUCED!!!!!
!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/3 scale police or bulldog Gatling gun made my master miniature makers Karl and Keith Furr in Orem, Utah. This piece is chambered for, and will fire, the .22 short rimfire cartridge. Polished yellow brass construction except for the barrels and some of the internal parts. 20″ tall overall. The barrel assembly measures 11 3/4″ long. Six .22 caliber barrels enclosed within a brass protective jacket. 64 round Accles drum magazine, which was the most complex Gatling feed mechanism. The magazine is actually geared to the gun using centrifugal force as well as gravity to load the gun. Unlike most Gatling guns you have seen, these police or bulldog Gatlings have the hand crank on the rear of the gun instead of on the right side rear. This is serial # 16, and the number 16 is stamped into most of the major parts. The bolts are numbered, and fit into the matching numbered hole in the rear of the gun. When cleaning one of these, the bolt should be removed and the gun cleaned from the breech end pushing any fouling out the muzzle, then making sure you get the bolts back into the correct holes. This Furr Gatling, like all Furr Gatlings, is built like a Swiss watch. The quality of materials, workmanship, fit, and finish are absolutely first rate. Not only that, but I know first hand that they work, and work flawlessly! The gun is in near mint condition, showing only some minor tarnish to the polished brass, and would polish up easily if you have a mind to do so. Included is a 500 round brick of Remington Golden Bullet high velocity .22 short ammunition, a $78.00 value. Since this is a firing .22, all FFL rules apply. Stock # WB-1, !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
