!!!!!SOLD!!!!! This is a 1/2 scale Moore derringer made by master miniature maker John Sutherland of Michigan. 2 7/16″ long overall with a 1 3/16″ barrel of about .175 caliber. Cast silver frame with the remaining parts machined steel finished in a fire blue. The top of the barrel hand engraved “MOORE’S PAT. F. A. CO. BROOKLYN, N.Y.”. The sides of the barrel hand engraved with a borderline near the top, some scrolls at the rear, and an arrow pointing towards a star near the muzzle. The engraving on the barrel done after the barrel was blued giving it a striking contrast. The sides, top, and backstrap of the frame expertly engraved in floral scrolls, checkered ovals and panels. Checkered hammer spur with a sighting notch. Checkered barrel release. Complete with the original Sutherland cherry wood hinged top casing with flip latch. The interior English fit and lined in a green felt. Accessories include a brass cleaning rod, five live 4mm rimfire rounds of ammunition, and one 4mm rimfire fired casing. Beautiful mint condition with the exception that the front sight is missing and the case interior bottom is poorly lined. Stock # ES-18. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
