Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/4 scale percussion underhammer cane gun made by John Sutherland circa 1980’s.  9″ long overall with a 7 1/4″ part octagon part round brass barrel of .125 caliber.  The frame, tangs, and muzzle plug are yellow brass.  The barrel has a blued finish.  The hammer & trigger are blued steel.  The handles are jigged bone made to resemble stag.  Complete with the original walnut puzzle box glass topped case.  The interior lined in a purple felt.  I have not had one of these for sale in several years.  The hammer works, but the trigger spring is either broke or missing, otherwise the cane gun is in excellent cosmetic condition.  If you pull the hammer up, & push the trigger into place, it will hold cock & fire.  The case is missing the end piece that is removed to slide the glass out, & has some minor blemishes.  There is a white sticker on the bottom, see photo.  Ex Kennith Whichard collection.  Stock # RB-24.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
