!!!!!SOLD!!!!! Jerry Missimer 1/2 Scale Miniature Military Fighting Knife With 4 1/2″ Blade As Would Have Been Made From A Cut Down M-1 Garand Or 1903 Springfield Bayonet, With Scabbard !!!!!SOLD!!!!!

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/2 scale miniature military fighting knife as would have been made from a cut down M-1 Garand or 1903 Springfield bayonet,  complete with scabbard, made by Jerry Missimer of Pennsylvania.    The bayonet measures 6 13/16″ long in the scabbard.  The bayonet itself measures 6 5/16″ long.  The blade measures 4 1/2″ long X 7/16″ wide.  The blade, crossguard, tang, & pommel are blued steel.  The handles are walnut held in place by a single screw entering from the right side.  There is no release button.  The scabbard is painted an olive drab green.  The body is fiberglass & the throat & hanger are brass.  One side of the throat stamped “U S”.  Jerry didn’t make very many of these, & this is the only one I have ever actually seen.  Excellent condition, the scabbard showing a few small paint blemishes, the bayonet showing friction wear to the blade from the scabbard.  Stock # MC-61. !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
