Project Description

!!!!!SOLD!!!!!  This is a 1/3 scale French L. Dolne “Apache” knuckle duster, brass knuckles, double action revolver, & dagger.  Folded it is 1 1/2″ long, 1 1/4″ high, & 3/8″ thick.  With the knuckles & dagger unfolded, it is 3″ long, 1 3/4″ tall, & 3/8″ thick.  The dagger is 1″ long X 1/4″.  Brass frame & knuckles, blued steel cylinder & hammer spring.  The rest of the metal parts are steel finished in the white.  Folding trigger, knuckles, & dagger.  This piece is chambered for the  2mm pinfire cartridge, but I’m not sure the hammer will strike with enough force to fire a cartridge.  To load, the cylinder pin is pivoted to the right, then removed forward to free the cylinder for loading/extracting.  The cylinder pin is used for extracting the spent cartridges.  The left front of the frame stamped “HK-0, L. DOLNE INV” in two lines.  Most likely a one-of-a-kind piece by Hersch.  Complete with the original Kopp oval brass hinged top case, French fit with a red felt lining, & I’ve included 7 2mm pinfire blank cartridges.  This type revolver was made famous by the French underworld figures of the early 1900’s known as Les Apaches, thus the name.  The cylinder will not always index properly when the trigger is pulled.  If you give the cylinder just a small nudge to the right, it will usually work, otherwise near mint new as made condition.  Stock # MC-54.  !!!!!SOLD!!!!!
